Advantage Green, in conjunction with Sims & Steele Consulting, will present a brief webinar on grant writing for green economic development projects in WNC:

• Grant opportunities due this fall
• Anatomy of an RFP — what you will need to do to prepare
• Special discussion of the Rural Center Economic Innovation Grants Program. Letter of Intent to Apply forms are due October 15. Seed projects have a max award of $75,000 and larger projects up to $400,000.

Matt directs the Advantage Green program and also administers Advantage West's grant activities.

Jennifer McLean, Grants Consultant, Sims & Steele Consulting
Jennifer brings 15 years of experience as a project manager in the field of environment and sustainable development. She holds a M.S. in Conservation and Sustainable Development from the University of Maryland. Most recently, she was a Chapter Growth Consultant for the U.S. Green Building Council, and designed programs and wrote grants for USGBC-Alabama, including a statewide green jobs training program.
