An interested EV education idea for the schools submitted by Kent Barnes:
"Look at the link to the attached web site. Asheville high went a few years ago to this event which moved to Ronake Rapids. Way too far away and too expensive for most to attend. If we did something like that in Asheville it would draw from Tenn, VA and SC. Good way to promote everything green. we have plenty of knowledgable people to run something like this and make it work."

I believe only the final event is in Garysburg, NC and everything else is managed at the local school in terms of curriculum and the hands-on work. Just need a local teacher to manage it. Asheville High has expressed interest, but any high school interested can contact the program director Eric Ryan at eric@ev-challenge.org for more information.
