- Future Forward Workforce Alliance, received a USDOL State Energy Sector Partnership Grant- It includes WIA Training dollars that will provide training funding for 15 Counties in Western North Carolina (Alleghany, Ashe, Alexander, Avery, Burke, Cleveland, McDowell, Mitechell, Polk, Rutherford, Watauga, Wilkes, Yancey. This training will be for dislocated workers to earn OJT skills and/or certifications in the Green Energy Sector.
- What opportunities or resources are you seeking?
- Creating a Sustainable Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency Consortium for the Future Forward Workforce Alliance (covers 15 counties in NC). This will help in establishing Western NC as the premier Green Corridor.
