There is important Clean Energy legislation sitting on President Obama's desk, today: As part of the Middle Class Tax Relief Act 2010, there are vital aspects of this senate bill which will extend tax credits for the production of biofuels, alternative fuels, energy efficient new homes, and energy efficient new appliances!

In addition to these extensions, the bill extends the deadline for beginning construction for the section 1603 grant for one year.
