Diesel Emission Reduction Grant (including Biodiesel buy down projects) deadline is Jan 17

This request for proposals from the NC Division of Air Quality, totaling about $350,000, is funded by a federal grant which allows for funding diesel projects only. Local governments, private and public schools, non-profits, for profit businesses, etc are all eligible to apply.

  • Replacement or alternative fuel truck projects.

USDA modifies biomass program

In late October 2010, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced revised rules to govern the Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP). BCAP was established in the 2008 Farm Bill to provide incentives for the establishment and cultivation of biomass crops to be utilized for heat, power, and biofuels.

USDA to host public meeting on the Renewable Fuels Report at AB Tech

Earlier this year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released a report outlining a strategy to meet the nation’s renewable fuel mandate.
