300kW farm biogas facility goes online in Vermont

N.C. Utilities Commission expands renewable energy definition to include new timber

At their meeting this week, the NCUC ruled that energy from new timber feedstocks can be used in meeting the Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards. Previously, the law only referred to "wood waste", and the clarification could expand the market opportunity for biomass energy projects. University of Montana plans to construct biomass boiler to heat, light campus - model for WNC?
