Western Carolina University wins $250K grant for energy conservation internships

Western Carolina University will implement a program this spring to fund student internships centered on energy efficient-focused building management.



A grant of nearly $250,000 from the N.C. Department of Commerce State Energy Office was recently awarded to the WCU Kimmel School for a program called INTERNSHIP: Integrating Novel Technologies for Energy Revolution by Nurturing Students and Helping Industry Partners.
