Silicon Valley investors place bets on sustainable ag

Sustainable Local Food Council has first meeting

The newly established N.C. Sustainable Local Food Advisory Council held its first meeting Feb. 9. There are 26 seats on the statewide council, and 24 of these appointees were able to attend the long awaited inaugural meeting held in front of a standing-room-only audience. N.C. Dept. of Commerce Sec. Keith Crisco is a member of the council.
