NCSEA UPDATE: Duke/Progress Merger

On Tuesday, the NC Utilities Commission began receiving testimony during a public hearing and evidentiary hearing as part of its review of the proposed merger between Duke Energy and Progress Energy. The merger, a $35 billion deal, will create the largest US utility in the nation if approved.
