NC Rail Agreement to Create 4000 New Jobs

North Carolina, Norfolk Southern Railway Co., Amtrak and NC Railroad Co.have reached an agreement that the NC rail modernization program will begin construction. This agreement and program will bring 4000 new jobs to North Carolina. The state will proceed with 24 construction projects in 11 counties, ranging from Greensboro and Charlotte to Cary and Burlington.
