Fleet Manager/Truck Driver for Blue Ridge Biofuels

Duties

• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for 7 trucks
• Ensure compliance with DOT, IRP, IFTA, and HAZMAT regulations
• Manage fleet department budget
• Maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance
• Schedule larger repairs with our mechanic shops
• Assist with fuel deliveries when needed

Job Requirements

• Experience working with fleets (managerial experience is not required)
• Current CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements - must have had CDL for at least 2 years
• Clean driving record
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain equipment
• Ability to maintain log books
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with a team
• Ability to work with basic computer systems (some training will be provided)

Pay Rate

• Hourly and based on experience
• Part-time (20-30 hours per week) to start with strong possibility of becoming full-time
