Electric car meeting picks North Carolina

The Electric Power Research Institute, the research arm of the power industry, picked the Raleigh Convention Center for its 2011 meeting on the plug-in electric car.

It'll be the first time the confab is held outside California, the nation's undisputed leader in the electric car realm.
