Last week to register: NC Federal Environmental Symposium - June 10th!

The NC Military Business Center is proud to host the 2nd Annual North Carolina Federal Environmental Symposium, June 10, Harris Conference Center, Charlotte, NC.  If you have not yet registered yet (as an exhibitor or attendee) for the Symposium register today – only a few more days remain!

 

The ENHANCED ROUNDTABLES will address all relevant topics included in federal agency strategic sustainability performance plans.  The enhanced roundtables include the following topics (see the Symposium web page for a detailed discussion of each Roundtable):

 

  • Roundtable 1: Energy, Sustainable Building and Infrastructure
  • Roundtable 2: Water, Waste Water, Storm Water and Solid Waste
  • Roundtable 3: Sustainable Transportation and Alternative Fuels
  • Roundtable 4: Sustainable Procurement and Green Product Acquisition

 

The NCMBC has also invited all installations in North Carolina and the GSA Public Building Service to host “AGENCY MINI-SESSIONS” during the Symposium.  While Roundtables are functionally organized, the “mini-sessions” will promote dialogue between industry and federal customers on ALL sustainability issues at the agencies’ respective installations and facilities.  Expected “mini-session” government participants include Marine Corps Installations East, Fort Bragg and GSA Public Building Services.

Trade Show.  In addition to the roundtables, the Symposium will include an exhibitor trade show, featuring businesses with products and services to help federal agencies meet their sustainability goals.  Senior officials of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and General Services Administration (GSA) Public Building Service with environmental requirements are invited and will speak with exhibitors.
