Description: The North Carolina Biotechnology Center’s Regional Development Grant (RDG) supports economic development initiatives in the life sciences statewide. The program funds early stage projects that foster the growth of biotechnology companies, related industries, and their service providers. Regional and community collaborations are encouraged.

Award Amount: Up to $75,000 can be requested, with 50% match, and projects must finish in 1 year.

Eligibility: Any North Carolina-based, non-profit organization is eligible to apply, such as economic development organizations, institutions of higher education, and chambers of commerce.
