NCIF Awarded $954,000 Grant to Benefit Entrepreneurs in WNC

The Natural Capital Investment Fund (NCIF) continues to work “hard to ensure that green entrepreneurs in our service area have the capital they need to grow and thrive.  And we're happy to report some success over the summer.  In August, NCIF was awarded a roughly $954,000 grant from the US Treasury's CDFI Fund in a competitive application process. We plan to use the funds for loans to small businesses in West Virginia and North Carolina.  All our efforts aim to support entrepreneurs who achieve a triple bottom line - economic, environmental and social."
