Help NCSEA Protect the REPS & Create More Clean Energy Jobs for NC - Here's How to Get Involved:
North Carolina's REPS law, which passed in 2007, and the recently introduced "Solar Jobs Bill" (House Bill 495 & Senate Bill 473) are under attack by groups and individuals who are spreading inaccurate information that is misleading legislators. We need your help!
Here's what you can do - please read this email carefully and take action:
- Click here to Register Now for NCSEA's next Lobby Day at the NC Gen.... You'll also need to schedule your meetings now with legislators to ensure you get time on their busy schedules (more info & instructions are found on our website). It's vitally important we have a large turnout so we can reach every legislator.
- Send an email to thank the sponsors of the "Solar Jobs Bill: Reps. Tom Murry, Ruth Samuelson, Tim Moffit,Jim Crawford; Sens. Tom Apodaca, Josh Stein, Pete Brunstetter. (Click on their names to access their contact info.)
- Contact your local legislators and encourage them to approve clean energy legislation this year, which will create thousands of new clean energy jobs across our state. Specifically, the "Solar Jobs Bill" and others that will be introduced in the House and Senate in the coming days. Click here to find out who represents you in the NC House & Senate.
