The Solar Foundation just released a new report on Solar Accounting

Some of you might be interested in this new report on solar accounting.  

Today's release Solar Accounting: Measuring the Costs and Benefits of Going Solar of introduces local government budget and finance officers to the various costs and benefits that influence a solar energy project's economic viability. A dry subject? Nonsense. Accounting is the linchpin in getting solar up on municipally owned buildings. It’s gotta make financial sense and this document explains how.

This primer for local governments was created as part of our efforts under the U.S. Department of Energy’s SunShot Solar Outreach Partnership. As a member of the partnership, The Solar Foundations helps provide information and technical expertise to local governments interested in implementing solar programs and policies.
