USDOT Grant: Transportation Investments to Generate Economic Recovery

The TIGER Discretionary Grant Program provides support for road, rail, transit, and port projects that promise to achieve critical national objectives. Proposed projects will have an impact on long-term outcomes including improving the condition of existing transportation facilities and systems, contributing to economic competitiveness, fostering livable communities, improving environmental sustainability, and improving safety. In addition, proposed projects are expected to have an impact on job creation and near-term economic activity. Priority will be given to projects that meet the secondary selection criteria of innovation and partnership.
